She enjoys nursing, but she's not as...committed :o) I'm thinking of starting the process mid/late October so we're done by her first birthday. Although I'm considering hanging onto *one* feeding...just cause I want to! :o) Interesting that you liked the evening one best...my favorite is the morning!

My second try at yogurt was another fail so I'm considering giving that one a rest :o) I think my equipment is faulty...the blogger I was going by shows pictures of a big air-tight cooler for the incubation period and I only have a collapsible one...so it might not be keeping things warm enough for the bacteria to grow. Bethanne offered to loan me her cooler to try it but I'm not sure I want to risk wasting another (almost) gallon of milk! And I think I posted a link to the recipe when I talked about it. I mean...it's not really a recipe, right? Just yogurt and milk :o) But yeah, having to have a starter is weird. What if ALL the yogurt gets destroyed??? THEN WHAT DO WE DO??? ;o)Jessicahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15777280961954748110noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8128153839401266850.post-21771552835967510202010-09-24T10:33:49.056+02:002010-09-24T10:33:49.056+02:00In my experience... we miss it far more than they ...In my experience... we miss it far more than they do. I cried when Natalie didn't even notice I had dropped a feeding. I held on to the evening one for a month longer than Derrick and I had originally discussed because I loved the time we had together. And the little sucker didn't even realize when I dropped that one! I was disappointed she didn't scream each and every night! lol Anyways... when and how are you starting to wean? Feel free to ask any questions.

And... did you make more yogurt? What recipe did you use? I was going to do this: http://allrecipes.com/Recipe/Homemade-Plain-Yogurt/Detail.aspx Am I the only one that finds it odd that I need yogurt to make yogurt? ;)Nicolehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12872592849420481127noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8128153839401266850.post-12675523998205421332010-09-21T15:47:33.185+02:002010-09-21T15:47:33.185+02:00Oh I know, aren't the milky smiles the greates...Oh I know, aren't the milky smiles the greatest? :o) And you're right...can't nurse the kid forever! Especially when the next one's coming so soon! ;o) Thanks!Jessicahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15777280961954748110noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8128153839401266850.post-35932140043858834092010-09-21T03:06:48.255+02:002010-09-21T03:06:48.255+02:00I love your posts and pictures!
