Firsts

Our first German drafts! :o)  The front desk at the hotel doubles as a bar... so last night I went down and spent some time talking to Kate.  I needed to know if the Greek restaurant down the street spoke English, and I was asking for her help on some pronunciation (she says I'm doing great!).  We ended up talking for about 40 minutes about all sorts of stuff!  She's super nice.  She's lived in the area all her life and says that she actually loves all the Americans because they bring work to the area!  (Jobs, rentals, restaurants, etc.)  She was really helpful answering a bunch of other questions I had.  It's exciting to be learning about the area... I can't wait till we're living out in the middle of it all! :o)  This is going to be soooooo fun!
