Back to the Grind

Well, as you can see from all the pictures, we had a great weekend!  Cass, Mike, and Zave left yesterday morning and now it's back to the daily grind:  Jesse's out the door before 4am and it's just the girls all day.

That's a lie, actually, cause Bethanne came over for a visit yesterday afternoon and ended up staying for dinner.  And we're planning to meet up with some friends at the park more regularly during the week.  So I'm not all alone *all the time*.  Besides, with these two darling girls to keep me company (and keep me on my toes!) all day, what do I have to complain about?

Except for the fact that I needed to remind myself of Air Force Wife Lesson #2 yesterday, I'm doing pretty good.

I wasn't incapacitated from our run on Saturday so I decided to keep it up and see how it goes.  This is a pretty big deal for me since I've always been a sworn hater of running... at least ever since I got lazy after I stopped doing track in high school.  Jesse's always wanted to have a running buddy but I've always told him to suck it up cause I ain't running with him... but it would be kind of fun to run together on the weekend (good jogging stroller pending) so we'll see if I can whip myself into shape enough to keep up with him.  I hate the treadmill cause I feel like a hamster, but you gotta do what you gotta do!

Okay Lily is soooo done with reading her book in her highchair so it's time to give her some Momma time before her nap.

Jesse has Airman Leader's Meeting tonight so we won't be seeing him till late.  Lily and Sam both agree with me... the weekends are more fun than the weekdays.  Everything is always more fun when Daddy's around! ;o)

49 days till graduation!
