Pj Mix Up

Jesse took care of LJ all by himself last night for the first time since he left for Basic. I was so nervous that she was going to be a terrorist and make the evening miserable for him...but apparently they didn't do half bad together! And I got to go out to the Olive Garden for girl's night with some ladies from our squadron, which included getting to know some really cool gals and eating pumpkin spice cheesecake. What a great night!

When I got home Jesse was on the phone with Mark and the house was quiet...such a great sign! I went upstairs to shower and noticed Jesse had left LJ's door open so I couldn't resist a peek at my girl.

There she was, sleeping peacefully next to Bunny and Blankie. But wait, something was amiss! Her head was on backward! Or was it? Wait...are her pajamas on...backward? Hmmm. I just laughed. And, knowing my husband is not an idiot, I couldn't wait to hear the reason for this funny sight.

*Apparently* these particular pajamas are improperly made, as the feet seemed to point the wrong direction and he couldn't figure out why the zipper would go in the back and the tag in the front. But he plunged fearlessly ahead (given the trouble I had getting her OUT of them this morning I can just imagine the scene as he got her INTO them that way!) and got her ready for bed.

And as Lily says, all's well that ends well Momma! And stop picking on Daddy! ;o)
