A Medieval View Brought to You by Our European Travel Lesson

Over lunch Jesse and I discussed how inconvenient it is to take the girls to things like this in the strollers.  The few times we've gone "out and about" since being here we've found the streets/sidewalks to be not very stroller friendly (aka cobblestones and or narrow) and also super crowded (my other most loved German phrase is "excuse me" with a very apologetic look ;o) ).  So we decided to ditch the stroller at the restaurant and head back out to do some more exploring.

This was probably the best decision we made that day, as we wouldn't have been able to climb THE TOWER unless we fearlessly left the stroller behind! ;o)  And we've decided that going stroller-less is likely the way to go from now on (for certain things).  Go-go moby wrap!!!

So to get to the top you have to climb at least five sets of stairs... I lost count.  But we got to the top and I was only wheezing a little ;o)

And this is what we saw!

That's the courtyard where LJ was riding the wooden horse!

Wow.  Close your eyes and pretend you're a medieval princess ;o)  Or a knight!

Lily votes princess.
