Don't Play with Your Food. Except for with Your Camera

My Love recently got me a new lens for the camera.  It's allowing me some more play room in the creative control department.  Which is causing me to play with both my camera and my food a lot more!  It's the camera's fault, I swear ;o)

The only thing I like more than cooking food and eating food is taking pictures of food.  On this particular morning, some fresh brie on our toast made the dreary weather outside feel cozy instead.  (Lily told me "no cam" at this point... as in "Momma, PLEASE put the dang camera away and let me eat that delicious food thankyouverymuch!")

Coffee is a food, right? ;o)

I love photographing produce.  I can't wait till I can pick fresh tomatoes (or peppers or cucumbers or lettuce or dill or zucchini or carrots!) from our garden to play with.  Oh yeah, and eat ;o)

Pizza and margarita night!

Experience #2 of Kirsten's baking = 6 layers of delicious (and beautiful!) Blueberry Lemon Cake

She found the idea on Pinterest, of course ;o)  Isn't it adorable?  And super time-consuming-looking?  She spoils us.

My other two favorite photography subjects gave said cake two sticky thumbs up!
