Kids Say the Darndest Things: Lily on Our Extended Family

Apparently Lily loves Steph the best.  Or maybe not.  It's a confusing situation...

We have this photo book given to us by Gram that I put pictures of all the extended family in.  Also pictures of the grandparents' homes and pets and main toys the girls love, etc.  I plan to update it soon (gotta put a pic of Miss Harper in there!) and we had it out the other day looking at the pics of family.  I was impressed that Lily seemed to remember some names... but then...

Me: (looking at a picture of my Mom)  Lily, who's this?
Lily:  Aunt Sephny
Me:  Noooooo it's Gigi!

Me:  (looking at a picture of Cassie)  Lily, who's this?
Lily:  Aunt Sephny
Me:  No!  That's Aunt Cassie!

She carried on calling almost every female relative Aunt Stephanie.  (She got most of the guys right, though)  And then...

Me:  (finally coming to the picture of Aunt Steph)  Lily, who's this???
Lily:  GIGI!!!

We love you Aunt Sephny... and all the Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, and Grandparents... even if we can't quite remember your proper names!  We miss you guys!
