No Place Like Home for the Holidays

Merry Christmas Eve!  I took a few pictures of the pretty, sparkly parts of my house because I want to completely ignore the messy, dirty, cluttered parts of my house... that I will be continuing to ignore today as I make cheesecake and prep for our big Christmas Eve dinner.

There will be lots of Christmas music today, at least one kiddie Christmas movie (they LOVE the Polar Express), and possibly a Christmas Eve craft if Lily's lucky ;o)  I will do a few loads of laundry so I don't get too far behind.  But I probably won't fold/put away.  I'm going to try not to worry about the fact that my dishwasher isn't draining for some reason... and I'm going to finish wrapping Jesse's Christmas gifts while he's at work.

And I'm definitely staying in my pajamas for the most part from now till the end of Jesse's four day break.  When he gets home today it's all about bumming around, eating good food, enjoying family traditions, and being merry for the next four days!  We've had a busy busy last four days so we're both really looking forward to some fantastic holiday laziness by the fire.

From our house to yours, Merry Christmas to all!
