I told Mom LJ wanted fridge magnets for Christmas.
And by that I meant, of course, that *I* wanted LJ to have fridge magnets for Christmas! I don't remember who it was, but someone had the brilliant idea to put them on the dishwasher instead of the fridge because I'm in and out of it less during meal prep. It's really funny, though, cause when I do open the dishwasher to load or unload it, she gets down on her tummy and tries to reach them!
It's cool for her to have something new and fun to play with specifically for the kitchen.
It's a lovely little matching games and sings a few rather catchy and *charming* tunes depending on if you get a proper match or not. I would sing them for you, but then you'd have them stuck in your head all day, like me! ;o) Oh and I really like it when I leave it on and accidentally bump into it at night when I'm doing something at the counter... and it starts singing to me. "...a fire engine plane? It won't go!"
She seems to like to spread them all over the floor lately... precisely what magnets are for, I tell ya! I'm waiting for the day I'm not paying attention and I go flying after stepping on one. Wheeeee!
First of all, I am quite certain that *grandpa* was the one who bought the magnet set when *he* was out shopping! (I'm innocent - and I don't like the song!)
ReplyDeleteI think that the someone who thought of the dishwasher was your husband!
Thanks (but not really) for getting that song stuck in my brain right before I am going to bed!
love you!
hahaha Mom... SUCKER!!! ;o) And I really do like the magnets, songs included. Just so ya know! "CAR in the bubble wash, CAR in the bubble wash, byebye dirt, hello soap squirt..."
ReplyDeleteLOL I need to hear it. Because now I have a tune in my head that could possibly be wrong. Anyways... Nat has an awesome fridge magnet set that teaches her the sounds of letters and all kinds of cool things. She rarely gets to enjoy it because of Joshinator. Yes, that is what we call him around these parts.
