Bye-Bye Cape Cod

In honor of all of us being back together in this house, we did a Thanksgiving dinner :o)  Mmmm Mmm Mm!

Are we done with the sad, hard goodbyes, yet?

Can't we just stay and read stories with Aunt Cassie forever?

Jesse and I spent a lot of time today packing up our stuff.  It was harder to pack this time because we had to fit it all into bags (for the airplane) instead of just fitting it all into the car.

And speaking of car, we also had to wash and vacuum ours, which was a little traumatizing... who knew that it had gotten sooooo dirty?  Ick!  But it's all ready now to be shipped (they only like to ship clean cars, apparently!) from Baltimore.

The kids are in bed and we're all relaxing a little.  We have to get up around 1:30am to make sure we're out the door by 2:15 at the latest... we need to be all checked into our hotel in Baltimore in time for Jesse to drive an hour to Andrews AFB for a German driver's test at 1pm.  Once we get to the hotel, the girls and I will just get to relax (hopefully) while Jesse runs around like a chicken with his head cut off... he's going to try to get the car shipped tomorrow, too.  If he runs out of time, he'll have to do it Thursday morning.

I can't believe it's been a month since we left Biloxi.  I also can't believe we'll be in Germany on Friday.  It still hasn't really sunk in for me... I don't know if it will until it happens!  I wish we didn't have to leave... but I'm also excited to go.  It's such a conflicted feeling.  Good thing I don't get to act on my feelings.  Cause I HAVE to leave no matter what!

So off we go.  Onto the next leg of the adventure.  Special thanks to all the Aiduks and Logues who made this second half of our vacation so special!  We will miss you all... and we can't wait to be back together again on the Cape soon!  XOXOXO
