The Best $5 I Ever Spent

This is probably one of my favorite yard sale finds to date.  $5!  I got it when before Lily was even sitting up on her own!

But I knew it would come in handy someday.  She's just getting interested in it and it's so cute to look over and see her coloring in the sunshine.  It has a white board on the other side, but I don't trust this one near markers just yet ;o)  And the previous owner probably shouldn't have either, as there are marker stains on the chalkboard.  But like I said, you can't beat $5.

Speaking of good deals, Jen and I are hoping to score some fantastic ones at the Ramstein Welfare Bazaar on base today.  It sounds like it'll be a fantastic shopping experience.

Maybe not as cheap as a $5 yard sale find, but still a lot of fun.  Top priority on my list is one of these super cute cloth baskets that are all the rage here.  They're collapsible and come in all sorts of patterns.  The Germans use them all the time and I've been drooling for one since we got here.  You can get them all over but I was told that they're cheaper at the Bazaar.  So I think today's my lucky day!

  1. I think you're wise not to trust Lil with markers yet! However, there is chalkboard paint that you can buy to refresh the chalkboard side where the previous owners markered on it!
