So Barcelona was all about the beach. Jesse and I hadn't been to the beach since the summer before Lily was born... unless you count Mississippi, which I don't. Brief afternoons on the beach with a 10mo are fun but you spend more time keeping sand out of little mouths than snoozing and getting a tan, obviously. So just us on the beach = perfect vacation memory.
BUT we did see this cool Magic Fountain! It was a two hour light show! We climbed up to the top of this really scary high wall (pictures here) (okay it's wasn't that high but it was scary... to me) and watched the whole thing while sharing a bottle of champagne. Super romantic and fun. Definitely another trip highlight.
