Passports, Check. Travel Plans, Check.

We got 'em!  Our tourist passports.  Not to be confused with the military passports the girls and I already have... those are called "no-fee passports" and are issued to you when you come overseas.  And Jesse doesn't even get one... just his "orders" (paperwork proving he's allowed to be in Germany for three years.)

So basically, we're collecting passports around here ;o)

The tourist passports are necessary to do touristy things... liiiiiiike go on a THREE WEEK FIVE-YEAR-ANNIVERSARY GETAWAY!  That's right folks, Jesse and I are going on the vacation of a lifetime.

It kind of came together like this:

Toni: I'm graduating from grad school in May (yay!)

Us: Heeeey how'd you like to come spend some time with us and watch the girls so we can go on an anniversary trip?  We'll pay for your ticket (as in, Happy Graduation to you but mostly, selfishly, Happy Anniversary to us!)

Toni:  SOUNDS GREAT!

Us:  OHMYGOSH we're going to travel Europe WITHOUT KIDS!

Mark:  Hey I want in on this!

Cassie:  Me, too!

Zave:  Me, tooooooo!

So bottom line, most of my in-laws (and my sweet nephew!) are coming for a visit sometime between the middle of April and the end of May and I couldn't be more excited!  I don't know what I'm most looking forward to... having them all come to visit or getting the chance to go on a three week getaway with My Love.

Plans are underway for a three week tour of Europe by train!  It's going to be so amazing!  I never in a million years would have believed you if you told me five years ago that I'd be living in Germany and traveling Europe.  Never.  But here we are! :o)
